Built in battery and no way change the battery? No chance,. Throw away flashlights in a world of recycling make no senses at all . Sorry Nitecore great features but (your not getting my money) with a throw-away expansive flashlight that you can't change out the battery in an Emergency situation. Nitecore you Suck! , first it was proprietary batteries now you can't even change the battery if dies ... this Absolutely Sucks!!!

I’ve already got the Civivi, Reate, Olight, and a titanium flipper utility knife. The Olight is the smallest; I’ve cut the palm of my hand closing it. I’ve got a Pichi on the way. So far I prefer the Reate but mainly because it’s fun to play with, lol. The Civivi is second. If the Olight were just a little longer and had a reversible clip it would be perfect.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Love Nitecore, my fav brand, but no medium mode is a deal breaker for me. They call it "tactical" because there's no memory mode hence why it always starts on high, and that's actually a requirement of many LE agencies. Just a marketing trick I guess, as many "non tactical" lights have a "tactical" mode anyway. I know you already know this, just saying...

I want the civivi but Gideon’s tactical’s review said that the blade can come out during use since the lock is not very strong.

The main reason I don't like it is because it is not a USB-C compatible.

I hit the side edge of the lids with a wooden spoon. It Always works and it’s safe. I’m a klutz so if I used a metal knife I know, at some point, I’d break the glass. Also there’s no effort.

I daily carry one of those balisong " butterfly" utility knives ,luv it, its a blast and does the job i need it to but just bought the exo gravity to add to the rotation

I have a couple crafstmen pocket utility knives like this that are more than 20 years old. They still work great as they did the day I took the out of the package at sears. I dont see a big reason to drop the money these things cost. and theres room in the handles for extra blades, bonus.

5$ workpro for cardboard and styrofoam and tape... my edc still clean because of it :)
